about

You can listen to the Played Out podcast here: soundcloud.com/playedoutpod

This is the main theme for The Played Out Podcast, a show featuring the vocal talents (or lack thereof) of Robert Edwards (@Cynic8edwards), Matt Mckeown (@LegitStereotype), and myself. It's the podcast equivalent of diarrhoea - once it starts it just doesn't stop. We occasionally discuss recent events in the games industry, but mostly we just go off track and talk about irrelevant stuff that no-one cares about besides us.

It's kind of like the Dismal Jesters, but not as good. I'm totally selling it to you right?

The theme tune is inspired by the Fawlty Towers theme. We wanted a really "classy" piece of baroque inspired string music, to act as a kind of juxtaposition to the idiocy of the conversation on the podcast. Don't be fooled - we had a discussion about Downton Abbey once, but honestly, that's about as classy as it gets with us.

Thanks:

Rob and Matt for having the faith in me to not mess this up.

Every violin/viola teacher I ever had, for teaching me what good string writing was (hope I didn't fail you).

Everyone who listens to the podcast, for... Seriously, don't you have something better to do with your time?
